Entertainment only

Palmate provides palm readings and compatibility results for entertainment. They are not fact, and they are not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Do not rely on them for any decision. We do not guarantee that any reading is accurate, complete, or true.

Your consent to use your palm photo

To use Palmate you submit a photo of your palm, which we treat as biometric data. By accepting these Terms when you continue at sign-in, and by submitting a palm photo, you give us your clear and informed consent to collect and process that photo, together with your first name, birth date, relationship status, chosen topic, email, and IP address, for the sole purpose of generating your entertainment reading. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to give this consent and to use Palmate. The app is not intended for children. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account in Settings.

AI processing

To create your reading, we send your palm photo and the details above to OpenAI, an AI provider that acts as our processor and generates the reading. OpenAI is the only third party we share this data with for this purpose. We do not sell your data or share it with any other third party, except infrastructure providers acting on our behalf and disclosures the law requires.

Your account

You are responsible for the content you scan and share. Do not upload images you do not have the right to use, or another person’s palm without their permission. Do not use Palmate for anything unlawful.

Your data and your rights

Your palm photos and readings are stored privately to your account and kept only while your account exists. You can delete your account and all of your data at any time from Settings, which permanently erases it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information and your rights of access, deletion, and consent withdrawal.

Subscriptions

Palmate Full is an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payment is charged through Stripe. Auto-renewing plans renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel from your Stripe customer portal.

As is, and limits on our liability

Palmate is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty that readings are accurate or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Palmate and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any decision you make based on a reading.

You agree to use Palmate responsibly, and to cover any claims that arise from your misuse of the app or your breach of these Terms.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and significant changes will be made clear in the app. Continuing to use Palmate after an update means you accept the new Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Palmate operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
